Belgrade Tourney June 2010

The desire to create a unique international soccer event was the driving force for a group of soccer enthusiasts and renowned soccer professionals. This will be the inaugural year of the Belgrade tournament, and also a first time opportunity to put young soccer players from all over the Balkan region together, at the same place under one flag, the flag of soccer.

For some time Belgrade has been a home for international tournaments that attracted some of the biggest clubs in Europe.
The purpose of this unique tournament is to bring all clubs from Republics of ex-Yugoslavia and all other Balkan countries, so that this tournament becomes a tradition. In addition, clubs from Austria, France, Greece and even United States have announced their participation.

FIFA will be closely monitoring this event, its desire to be a part of something unique and exciting like this soccer tournament. Success of this Belgrade Tournament will be a huge effect on every aspect of life in this region of Europe.

Arrival of the teams is expected on June 19th, since the press conference and the draw for the tournament will be held at 6:oo p.m. on that day. Staff from every participating team is expected to be part of the press conference and the drawing.
